before your appointment
Eat Before You Come In:
Eating a balanced meal at least two hours before your scheduled tattoo appointment is essential. Proper nutrition provides your body with the necessary energy and nutrients to withstand the tattooing process. Tattoo sessions can be lengthy, and maintaining stable blood sugar levels through proper eating will help you feel more relaxed and resilient throughout the session.
Hydration:
Hydration is equally important, so make sure to drink enough water before your appointment. Being well-hydrated helps keep your skin healthy and improves the overall tattooing process.
Avoid Going to the Gym on the Day of Your Tattoo:
Refrain from engaging in intense physical activities, such as going to the gym, on the day of your tattoo appointment. Rigorous exercises can cause dehydration and may lead to discomfort during the tattoo session.
Hygiene:
Prior to your tattoo appointment, it's essential to prioritize hygiene to create an optimal environment for both you and our artists. We kindly ask that you take a thorough shower and ensure your skin is clean and free from any residues.
To create a pleasant environment for everyone, we kindly request that you refrain from wearing heavy fragrances or lotions to the studio.
It is recommended to moisturize the area prior to your appointment to keep the skin supple and hydrated, but please avoid applying any lotion or cream on the day of the appointment as it can make the area slippery and affect the tattooing process.
What to Wear:
Comfort is paramount during your tattoo session, so we suggest wearing suitable attire that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. Loose-fitting and comfortable clothing will help you relax and enjoy the experience.
As you'll be lying down for an extended period, choose clothing that allows for ease of movement. We want you to feel at ease throughout the session, so opt for garments that won't interfere with the tattooing process.
Respecting Our Space:
Our studio is a creative and respectful environment, and we kindly request that you do not use any hateful language or engage in any disruptive behavior. This also applies to support people.
Please understand that we reserve the right to refuse service or entry to anyone who violates our policies or behaves in a manner that is disruptive or disrespectful to our staff or other clients.
